Dvora created the original oil painting on canvas in response to the tragic events of October 7th, 2023. It symbolizes the hopes and resilience of the people of Israel with a declaration of "Am Yisrael Chai" the Jewish people are alive and well.
The colorful fluttering confetti in the background represents the celebration of being alive. Despite the many disasters the Jewish people have endured from ancient times until today, the land of Israel is a living miracle that deserves to be celebrated and cherished.
These iconic words, taken from a popular folk song expressing the indomitable spirit of the Jewish people, will make a striking and meaningful gift for every Jewish home.
