This is My Story
I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and developed a passion for art and music from an early age. I pursued this direction at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa, where I earned a B.A. in Fine Arts, specializing in painting.
After completing my studies, I taught art and music in South Africa before making Aliyah to Israel in 1984. Upon arriving, I dedicated myself to establishing an art studio specializing in Judaica art.
My work is deeply influenced by the vibrant beauty of the Israeli landscape and the rich traditions of Jewish life, which I blend into each of my creations.
Today, I live with my family in Tzur Hadassah, a picturesque town in the Jerusalem Hills.
Things I Love
I am deeply moved by stirring music and thought-provoking literature, which continue to inspire my creative journey.
I find immense joy in the beauty and harmony of the natural world, which never ceases to fuel my artistic vision.
I am also passionate about exploring the history of the Jewish people, embracing the present while reflecting on the timeless lessons of the past.

My Art & My Inspiration
From a young age, I have been captivated by the beauty of the natural world. My earliest drawings and paintings were inspired by the colorful flowers, birds, and animals I encountered in our garden and the untamed African landscape. The vivid colors of nature have always been a fundamental element in my art.
Living in Israel has been a dream come true, further enriching my artistic vision.
The country's vibrant and diverse landscapes, from the bright blue Mediterranean coast to the golden hues of the Negev Desert, have deeply inspired me. Cities like Jerusalem, with its warm stone buildings bathed in soft golden light, and Tel Aviv, alive with the striking blues of the sea and its vibrant art scene, have added new dimensions to my work. The lush greenery of the Galilee, the stark beauty of the Dead Sea, and the rich earth tones of the desert are all reflected in my creations.

Adding to this stunning palette are the colorful flowers of Israel, which bloom year-round, bringing brilliance to the land. In spring, wildflowers like red anemones and blue lupines paint the hillsides, while gardens in the north burst with vibrant bougainvillea, hibiscus, and jacarandas. Even in the arid desert, resilient flowers like the desert iris bloom after rare winter rains, infusing the landscape with unexpected color. These natural elements have seamlessly woven into my Judaica art pieces, many of which now adorn homes in Israel
and around the world.
In addition to the beauty of the land, my studies of Biblical and Jewish sources have provided me with a wealth of stirring quotations and images, which I have incorporated into my artwork, particularly in pieces designed
for home settings.
These diverse influences have shaped my artistic journey, creating a blend of vibrant colors, cultural heritage, and spiritual depth that resonates in every piece I create.
